MANAGING DIRECTOR

FILIPPO CIMA

Filippo Cima is a designer, architect and façade systems expert. As Managing Director of iDEA&Associates, he leads the transformation of iconic structures into expressive, high-performance façades where structure, light, and technology seamlessly blend.

With almost two decades of experience, Filippo’s expertise lies in solving the intricate challenges posed by large-scale, unconventional surfaces—whether integrating tensile membranes, kinetic elements, or high-resolution LED systems into new or existing buildings.

Since founding iDEA&Associates, Filippo has led the delivery of signature lighting and media façade upgrades for landmark towers including the Burj Khalifa, Mubadala Tower, Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, and Kingdom Centre in Riyadh.

COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

HARRIET STEWART

Harriet is a versatile, self-motivated and target driven professional, who has more than 15 years of technical production and audio-visual experience in the Middle East.

Before stepping into her current role as Commercial Director for iDEA&Associates, Harriet spearheaded the sales and business development team for the World’s leading audio visual provider, PRG in the Middle East, where she excelled in scaling business operations, driving revenue growth year-on-year, and executing some of the region’s largest and technically challenging events, including UAE National Day, MDLBEAST, COP28, Atlantis the Royal Launch to name but a few.

In her current role, Harriet leverages her extensive background in AV to drive operational excellence, sales and strategic initiatives for the company. She is involved in overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and creativity for clients.

With a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership, Harriet continues to be at the forefront of the UAE’s growing multi-media facade market, helping to shape the future of architectural and digital art integration. Her passion for leveraging technology to create impactful visual narratives is matched only by her commitment to building strong, collaborative teams that thrive in an ever-evolving industry.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

DE WET POSTHUMUS

De Wet Posthumus is a Senior Project Manager at iDEA&Associates and has more than 15 years of experience in Systems Integration and Project Management.

De Wet gained his experience in the field of Multimedia facades delivering the some of the largest LED facades in the World, including the inaugural screen on Burj Khalifa and ADNOC Headquarters. His knowledge of complex buildings and infrastructure, enables him to guide and support the onsite teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the integration of LED and lighting systems meets all design specifications, performance standard and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, his strong technical background, combined with excellent project management skills enables him to drive projects from conception to completion, on time and in budget.

PROJECT ENGINEER

PRINCE MATHEW

Prince Mathew is a Project Engineer with over a decade of technical and leadership experience in facilities engineering and façade systems, with specialized expertise in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of dynamic Mashrabiya façades. Since joining iDEA & Associates in 2024, he has been contributing to complex multimedia façade projects, including the Kingdom Centre in Saudi Arabia.

Prince is best known for his in-depth knowledge dynamic façades. His role involved leading multidisciplinary teams in maintaining the automated façade elements, troubleshooting system faults, integrating control protocols, and ensuring compliance with performance standards and client expectations. He also coordinated with technical service experts and contractors to maintain seamless façade operations while adhering to strict KPIs and SLAs.

His background also includes advanced MEP systems maintenance, performance reporting, and safety compliance, supported by certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, and HAZWOPERM. Known for his hands-on approach, Prince is highly regarded for his ability to bridge engineering insight with operational execution—an asset for any project involving kinetic or adaptive façade technologies.

PROJECT COORDINATOR

MARVIN PERIDA

Marvin Perida is a seasoned Project Coordinator with over 15 years of experience the lighting industry.

Known for his exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, Marvin has successfully managed some of the region’s most complex lighting and multimedia façade projects, ranging from Burj Khalifa’s newly upgraded exterior façade lighting to Mubadala Tower and Abu Dhabi Global Market and Museum of the Future.

His onsite expertise in coordinating teams and liaising with clients has earned him a reputation for delivering largescale projects on time and within budget. Whilst his technical ability in Autocad and Dialux EVO enables him to deliver a turnkey solution for any lighting project.

OPERATION MANAGER

SAJEEV PILLAI

With over 25 years of experience in the aluminium systems and fabrication industry, Sajeev Pillai is a skilled Operations Manager known for his expertise in optimizing processes and leading skilled teams.

Beginning his career in Mumbai as a technician, Sajeev quickly advanced through various roles.

Moving to UAE in 2000, Sajeev became the foreman and supervisor for Belgium Aluminium, where he spent 6 years of his career before moving to TSSC Group, where he became Production Manager, overseeing both the technical and operational aspects of the business.

At the helm of a dedicated team of fabricators at iDEA&Associates, Sajeev has created a collaborative work environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in the production process. His strong leadership skills and commitment to continuous improvement have driven significant productivity gains and enhanced project outcomes.

Sajeev has led the team who has successfully delivered integrated systems for Burj Khalifa, Kingdom Center, Abu Dhabi Global Market and other high profile government buildings.
